Help available to Employers

For those of you who know me, you will know I am a big believer in sticking to what I do best.  Ace’s in their places and all that jazz.  I have aligned myself with some well vetted and trusted advisors who are experts in their respective fields which has in turn allowed our clients to benefit from a wide variety of services made available.  I recently had the pleasure of meeting Denise O’Reilly from DOR Legal and as with all of my trusted advisors, I have been in touch with her for some business advice of my own and have been extremely pleased with her service.

Denise has built her firm, providing advice on all aspects on employment law.  She has a wide range of experience and offers many services, particularly those which I am often asked about which is advice regarding award coverage and minimum entitlements, drafting employment contracts, drafting independent contract agreements, advice regarding dismissals and termination risks and the like.  DOR Legal offers the full range of services from smaller matters such as assisting with advice on managing employees, drafting employment contracts, in-house employment policies right through to and including representation in employment related litigation in Courts and tribunals.

DOR Legal is able to provide advice on an ad-hoc basis which creates a more economical source of advice for small business owners.  I highly recommend going to the DOR Legal website and subscribing to their newsletter.

And speaking of employment, I am currently looking to add another accountant to our wonderfully friendly team so if you or anyone you know would be interested in a position at IQ Accountants please email me at
