I hope everyone is enjoying the new financial year so far. A quick reminder that payment summaries are due to be provided to all employees/contractors today. The ATO requires the payment summaries to be provided by July 14th.
Also, for those in the building and construction industry – you may have received some correspondence regarding the Taxable Payments Annual Report which is due by August 28th. If you are not sure whether this applies to you, click here for the list of occupations and work activities that the ATO deem to apply. If you fall into one of these categories, please ensure you meet your obligations be preparing this report.
